Introduction
Dear Traveler: thank you for choosing us to perform this Tour! We hope you enjoy your trip.
Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
15.00hrs- In order to participate in the panoramic tou r of the city please be at the hotel reception.
16:00 hrs . - Zagreb. From the hotel, panoramic tour of Zagreb with local guide, we can admire its two hills, the old quarter, the upper city and the new neighborhoods of the Croatian capital. The visit will last about two hours.
You will then have free time. Dinner included.
Scenery: Mountains, ancient castles.
Note: Please bring your passport in hand as we will cross to Bosnia. Sometimes this journey may suffer delays due to traffic or border delays.
07:30 hrs. - Zagreb - Departure. We travel to Bosnia. Areas of hills and forests in the center of Croatia.
09.30 hrs.- Border crossing procedures entering Bosnia (sometimes they can be delayed). We travel through the region where the ruined houses remind us of the war and ethnic conflict in Bosnia that took place in the 1990s.
10.30hrs- Bania Luka. Arrival and time for a walk through the capital of the autonomous entity of Republika Srpska and the second largest city in Bosnia, after Sarajevo, where its boulevards and gardens as well as its fortress and orthodox cathedral stand out.
11.30 hrs- Bania Luka, departure. We continue through densely wooded regions.
13.00 hrs- Jajce- arrival in what is perhaps the most beautiful town in Bosnia, with its cultural mix, its mosque, its fortress and its impressive waterfall. Time for a walk and lunch.
14.30hrs- Jajce, departure and continuation to the capital of Bosnia.
17.30 hrs.- Sarajevo - Arrival. We include a panoramic city tour with local guide. We will talk about the conflict that existed in Bosnia and Sarajevo, we will walk through the historical center with strong Turkish influence (its bazaars, mosques..). Dinner included.
Scenery: Beautiful landscapes throughout the whole route: mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, and picturesque villages. Arrival in Dubrovnik with beautiful seascapes.
Notes: Please bring your passport in hand, as today we cross to Croatia.
We will still have some time to explore Sarajevo, where we will visit the Tunnel of Hope that in 1993 saved the city in the 30 months siege of Sarajevo during the war by connecting the besieged city through a tunnel with free Bosnia.
10.30 hrs. - Sarajevo - Departure. Very beautiful landscapes between mountains and valleys.
13.00 hrs.- Mostar .- Free time to stroll and have lunch in this very picturesque city, its streets are full of lively commerce and small restaurants. The high stone bridge separated the Catholic, Orthodox and Muslim communities.
16.00 hrs.- Departure. Just 20 km away you will find:
16.30 hrs.- Medjugorge.- Arrival. A place where thousands of Catholic pilgrims come. They believe that the Virgin Mary continues to appear on the top of the mountain. Time to walk next to its main church and urban center.
17.30 hrs. - Medjugorge - departure. Departure to Croatia. Border procedures (which may take a while). Very beautiful coastal scenery.
20.00 hrs- Dubrovnik- Arrival.-Accommodation may be in Catvat, on the coast near the city. Dinner included.
Note: in some departures, accommodation may be in Cavtat, a coastal town near the city of Dubrovnik.

Note: in the winter months, from November to March, there is no boat service to Lokrum and therefore we cannot visit the island.
Scenery: Beautiful coastal landscapes on the Dalmatian coast.
08:30 hrs. - Dubrovnik. Today´s route will be exciting. Beautiful landscapes following the Dalmatian coast.
12.15 hrs. - Split -. Free time for lunch.
14: 00/14: 30 hrs . - Visit with local guide of this impressive city that emphasizes the immense Palace of Diocletian (entrance included) . We will visit the roman palace, the alleys, and enjoy a great view over the sea. Duration of the visit of about two and a half hours.
Free time afterwards. Dinner included.
Scenery: Varied, mountains, lakes, plateaus.
Note : Wear comfortable shoes, you will need them in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. We also recommend you to wear warm clothing.
08:00 hrs. - Split-Departure. We travel to the north of Croatia following the coast.
11:30 hrs. - Plitvice Lakes National Park, site declared World Heritage by Unesco; Entrance included to the park where you will be able to admire its lakes. The entrance gives you the right to use the boats of the park to approach the falls or, if you prefer, the inner train to approach the most picturesque places. Time to visit and have lunch.
15:00 hrs. - Plitvice National Park - Departure - We continue to the north.
18:15 hrs. - Opatija. Elegant Croatian coastal town that followed the tourist line of the Côte D´Azur or the Italian Riviera. Dinner and accommodation.
Note: i n exceptional circumstances, either for meteorological reasons or due to tourist density, it may not be possible or advisable to use the train or/nor boat in Plitvice.
Scenery: Very different from those of previous days: alpine type, with forests, high peaks and lakes.
Note: Carry your passport, it will be required when you pass to Slovenia. Wear a jacket for Postojna where there may be a strong temperature difference between the inside and the ouside of the cave.
07.30 hrs.- Opatija -departure. We leave to Slovenia. Mountains covered with forests, picturesque villages along the route.
09.30 hrs- Postojna-Arrival . We will know one of the world´s biggest and most visited caves in Europe with more than 20 km of galleries and lounges. We will visit it partially in an enabled tourist train where we will travel 3 km of its natural universe of stalactites and stalagmites (entrance and train ticket included).
11.00 hrs- Postojna, exit.
12.30 hrs. - Bled. Between mountains and forests, on the edge of the lake, a very beautiful Slovenian enclave on the shore of a lake in the middle of which there is an islet where the bell tower of a monastery stands out at the foot of a medieval castle. We include a boat trip around Bled’s lake and a visit of the monastery on the islet.
Time for lunch in the tourist town of Bled.
15.30 hrs. Bled-departure.
16.30 hrs. - Ljubljana - Arrival - Time to visit the small capital of Slovenia, a beautiful central European city, meeting point throughout the history of Slavs, Germanic and Mediterranean. It emphasizes its castle. We make a two hours visit with local guide that will make us know the peculiarities of this small country and its capital.
Dinner included and accommodation.
Note: During winter, in order to be able to visit Ljubljna during the daylight hours, this may take place before departure to Maribor.
NOTE: Have your passports to hand, we are entering Italy. There may sometimes be delays in arrival due to crowding at the borders.-
Free time to see the little capital of Slovenia, a beautiful central European city and a meeting point in history for Slavs, Germans and peoples of the Mediterranean. Its castle stands out.
16:30 hrs. - Ljubljana - Departure -. After the following mountains covered by dense forests, we come to the Adriatic and enter Italy.
20:00 hrs. – Venice - Arrival -. Accommodation in the Mestre area.
18.30 hrs.- Transfer to the hotel from the area of St. Marcos. You will have the chance to eat dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose the type of restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).
08.30hrs- In the morning, we have a 2 hrs scenic tour of the city , which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. In the panoramic you will know the ancient Rome called Imperial Rome: Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Piazza di Venezia with its monument to Italian unification, Quirinal Hill with the Palace of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Theater, Capitol Hill, Roman Forums , Circus Maximus, Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin with the mouth of truth, Republican Temple, Termas de Caracalla, Aureliana Wall, Basilica di Santa María Maggiore and Archbasilica of St. Johm Lateran, Church of Santa María in Dominica (Navicella), Cestia Pyramid , San Paolo Gate, Lungo Tevere avenue with the Jewish synagogue of Babylonian style, Tiberina Island in front of the Castel St. Angelo. This tour ends at St. Peter´s Square in the Vatican. The Vatican Museums are closed on Sundays, so, if you are interested, we recommend you to do it at this time. Free afternoon.
18.30 hrs.- In the evening we provide transport to the Trastevere area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food. 20.30hrs- Return to hotel.
Landscapes: Very beautiful landscapes in the bay of Naples and Sorrento.
Notes: As we will take some boats, we suggest you to take some warm clothes. Do not forget to take the camera as landscapes are of great beauty. For climatic reasons, sometimes the ships that connect Naples with Capri or Sorrento do not operate; in these cases, the route would be modified arriving to Sorrento by road and visiting Amalfi instead of Capri.
07.30 hrs- An early start in Rome, to travel to the south of Italy. 11.00 hrs. - We pass through NAPLES where we embark ( boat ticket included) for the ISLAND OF CAPRI (estimated departure at 11.35hrs in a 50 minutes cruise with very beautiful landscapes) ;
12.45 hrs.-CAPRI - if you wish, you can take a launch to the White Grotto or take a trip on the cable car to Capri capital. Free time.
16.20 hrs- Capri- Departure. we will board once more and continue to Sorrento (schedule might be modified)
17.15 hrs- SORRENTO , arrival to this town full of charm and tourist life at the foot of the cliff. Time to stroll.
18.30 hrs- Sorrento departure. We continue to the Gulf of Salerno.
20.15 hrs- Salerno. Arrival.
Note: During the winter months, schedules will be modified (leaving Naples earlier) in order to take advance of sunlight.
Landscapes: Mountains, sea, villages en route.
Note: We recommend you to take warm clothes to enjoy the crossing on the ferry between the Italian Peninsula and Sicily.
07.30 hrs- Salerno. Departure. We travel to the south of ¨the boot¨. Attractive southern Italian scenery as we cross the Cilento National Park.
11.30 hrs- We arrive in PAOLA , on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, we visit the sanctuary of St Francis of Paola and we have free time for lunch in its pretty historic centre.
14.00 hrs- We go on our way to VILLA SAINT GIOVANNI where at around 16.30 hrs we take a 20 minutes short ferry crossing to the island of SICILY .
17.30 hrs- Arrival in MESSINA where we will have time for a stroll in the center of this great city, our meeting with the island of Sicily.
18.30 hrs.- Messina, departure.
19.30 hrs- TAORMINA. Arrival. Dinner included.
NB: Accommodation in the “region of Taormina”, the accommodation may sometimes be in Messina.
Landscapes: Hills, hanging villages, olive trees, views over the sea.
08.30 hrs- Taormina, departure. Very beautiful landscapes following the Mediterranean.
10.30 hrs.- SYRACUSE , Arrival to this city which for a time rivalled Athens and Rome for its power and splendour. In addition to its impressive archaeological site, you have time to visit its magnificent historic centre and lose yourself walking through the narrow streets. Time for lunch.
14.00 hrs- Syracuse. Departure.
14.45 hrs.- NOTO , arrival to this small city that seems to have stopped in time, the Baroque jewel of Sicily. Walk with our guide through this as yet almost undiscovered city at a touristic level that preserves a monumental heritage.
16.30 hres- Noto. Departure. Small roads in the interior part of the island.
20.00 hrs.- AGRIGENTO .- Arrival . In the coach we see the magnificent temple complex. Dinner included.
Today we know arechaeological sites that remind us the importance of the ancient Greece in Sicily. With a local guide we visit the Valley of the Temples, an impressive archaeological site considered the most complete complex of Greek temples (ticket not included) .
11.00 hrs.- Agrigento.- Departure.
13.00 hrs- MARSALA, arrival to a historic city with a lot of atmosphere and a famous wine, and time for lunch.
15.30 hrs.- Marsala departure.- We go on around the Marsala salt marshes.
16.15 hrs.- ERICE , a very picturesque Phoenician town perched at the top of a hill and overlooking the sea. Time to stroll.
17.15 hrs.- Erice- Departure.
19.00 hrs- PALERMO. arrival and Dinner included .
09.00 hrs.- After breakfast, city tour of PALERMO . The Sicilian capital is a city full of contrasts. Stories of Arabs, Normans, the splendour of the Baroque period. We include a transfer to the beautiful village (now an outlying district of Palermo) of MONREALE . one of the greatest examples of arab-norman architecture in Italy. The city of Palermo particularly stands out for the Palace of the Normans with its Palatine Chapel and Cathedral. After the visit free time in the area of Teatro Massimo .
End of our services. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.
Important note: In case you have to book an external service (plane/train...) on the day of the end of
your tour with activities included, please remember that the schedules of the detailed itineraries are the "planned" ones but may be affected by different circumstances (traffic density, customer delays, breakdowns...). Do not book a flight/train with a tight schedule without taking this into account.
Always leave a margin in the schedule for unforeseen events.
